How to turn a PDF floor plan into a 3D room draft

Upload a PDF or image floor plan, review its dimensions and check the resulting 3D room draft.

Choose a readable plan

Use a PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 10 MB. Prefer a clear original export with visible wall boundaries and dimensions over a compressed screenshot. If your source is DWG or DXF, export it to PDF or an image first; direct CAD upload is not supported in the consumer workflow.

Select the relevant page and apartment

Choose Upload my floor plan and select the page containing your room or home. If the page includes several apartments, identify the one you want. A screenshot of a plan displayed in the application is a reference image; it is not by itself a reconstructed 3D model.

Supply the information the analysis needs

Use the printed dimensions and a known reference length when the workflow asks you to set the scale. Enter the ceiling height separately. Floor plans can contain furniture dimensions, elevations and outside measurements as well as room dimensions, so review which values describe the walls.

Review the generated draft

After analysis, inspect each room boundary, corner, opening and dimension. Compare them with the source plan before placing furniture. Automatic extraction can misread unclear labels or complex geometry. Correct the draft rather than treating an attractive 3D preview as proof of measurement accuracy.

Know when to draw manually

If the plan is blurred, missing dimensions or ambiguous, use your own measured room dimensions and draw the room instead. A successful AI analysis uses a credit under the current plan; manual drawing does not. The result is for room planning, not a verified construction drawing.
